The water repellent finishing of the fabric may be carried out by using a single-sided liquid supply after the compounding. The use of corona treatment is very effective for increasing the bond strength of the composite.
Process requirements: fabrics, linings, according to user requirements, appropriate choice. Water repellent finishing: According to user requirements, organic fluorine or silicone waterproof finishing agent can be used. Corona discharge: voltage 5 ~ 25KV, spacing 2 ~ 20mm. Adhesive coating: For wet method, organic glue or PU glue can be selected according to the needs. The amount of glue applied is 10 to 20 g/m2, and the vehicle speed is 8 to 10 m/min. Drying or drying: temperature 90 ~ 150 °C. Hot pressing compound: temperature 150 ~ 165 ° C, pressure 4 ~ 6bar, time 15 ~ 20s.
The ePTFE membrane is characterized by high hydrophobicity, heat stability, excellent chemical resistance and insulation. It is laminated with the fabric by a point bond to form a Zhiteng laminated waterproof and moisture permeable fabric. Its new generation of products is durable and water repellent. The composite fabric consists of the original hydrophobic multi-ePTFE membrane and the oil-repellent finishing of organic fluorine. It allows the water vapor molecules to pass through and can prevent the liquid polymer from passing through the selective polymer membrane. Moreover, it can overcome the body fat pollution and the washing agent to cause the waterproofness to decrease, thereby improving the waterproof and moisture permeability and the durability of use, and correspondingly improving the hydrostatic pressure resistance.
The e-PTFE fabric is pressed from the e-PTFE film and the fabric through a special process layer. Generally divided into a single patch fabric, double paste fabric. Single paste (two in one): e-PTFE microporous film is made of nylon or polyester fabric as a surface layer; double paste (three in one): nylon or polyester fabric as the surface layer, nylon warp knitted fabric as the inner layer, The middle is pressed by an e-PTFE microporous membrane layer. The special microporous structure of  e-PTFE fabric makes it excellent in waterproof, moisture permeable and windproof. It is truly waterproof, moisture permeable, windproof and breathable, and makes the human body feel dry and comfortable. It is called “breathing fabric”. At present, it is mainly used in high-end functional fields such as outdoor products, military uniforms and medical protection.
